A well-known Mpumalanga taxi owner was killed by thugs who also drove off in his bakkie on Saturday.
Elmon Makhushe, 69, of Mangweni in the Nkomazi region was relaxing with a female friend in the bushes when two men approached them with guns.
They ordered Makhushe to undress and used his shirt to blindfold the woman.
She was not hurt and went to the police after the men had left in Makhushe's bakkie.
Makhushe died from a single gunshot to the head.
