The late Tshwene Johannes Walter Radipere, 50, was a respected medical doctor and businessman in Limpopo.

He died in a car accident near GaManamela village in Moletjie on Saturday.

Radipere was born in GaRammabolo and moved to Flora Park in Polokwane where he was based until his untimely death.

He started his retail business in 1995 and was also an executive member of the Zebediela Taxi Association.

His love for the community saw him sponsor the building of the Roman Catholic Church in GaRammabolo. He also funded a local netball team and football club.

Radipere did his medical internship at the Groothoek Hospital in 1988, where he later worked full-time.

He worked at the hospital until April 1993.

In May 1993 Radipere started his private practice.

He opened surgeries in Monsterlus and Phokwane in the Sekhukhune area and also worked part-time at St Rita's Hospital.

He will be buried at the Silicon Cemetery in Polokwane tomorrow.

The funeral service will be held at the Flora Park Comprehensive School from 7am tomorrow.

The cortege leaves for the cemetery at 9am.
