Popular fashion designer Ephraim Modingoana is fuming.
Modingoana has accused hip-hop star Pitch Black Afro's management company of not paying him R30000 for helping them shoot some videos last year.
One of the videos is for the popular song Never Let You Go, which is currently enjoying good airplay on Channel O.
"I am very angry with these guys and I have been waiting for my money since last year," said Modingoana yesterday.
"I will fight this, all the way to the top, if I have to.
"I'm mad, really mad about this. I can barely speak to you I'm so angry.
"I used my own money for the clothes and styling for the video shoot.
"Now I have no choice but to go to court to recover my money.
"They are taking me for a ride. They must pay me because I deserve it," he said.
Vaughn Eaton, Pitch Black Afro's manager, was quick to dismiss Modingoana's claims yesterday.
"We owe him nothing and Pitch Black owes him nothing either," said Eaton.
"The guy was not employed by us.
"We paid a company by the name of Palamino Productions in full and they messed up, so it is not our problem any more," he added.
