The giving mood prevails at Score Supermarkets and to prove that, the company recently handed over a cheque for R30000 to the Orlando Children's Home.

Money for this initiative was raised from a golf day hosted by the store for both its suppliers and staff members.

On the day the cheque was presented children from the home, together with their principal, Mirriam Mazibuko, and chaperone, Sharon Lekutu, were taken for breakfast at one of Score's restaurants at Baracity Mall, near Soweto.

To show their gratitude, the high-spirited children sang a song, Siyabonga, to Deon Bredenhann from Score Supermarkets, much to his delight.
