Malcolm Klassen has warned Nick Durandt and his fighter, Cassius Baloyi, to stop spreading lies that Baloyi will end Klassen's reign as the IBF junior lightweight champion if he walks past Mzonke Fana on April 20.

"I am pissed off. I don't need such distractions because I am focusing on Fana for now. Baloyi' s turn will come and I will knock him out," said the fearless champion from Toekomsrus in Gauteng.

"Cassius knocked out a bum in Nazareno Ruiz. He now talks too much, as if he defeated a world beater. Cassius and Nick have big mouths and I will shut them up, and this is a fact."

It is unclear if Durandt is playing mind games with Klassen simply because he will be in Fana's corner with Zola Koti, Fana's trainer.

Durandt assisted Koti in Texas on April 9 2005 during Fana's failed mission to dethrone Marco Barerra of his WBC belt.

For the record, Barerra knocked Fana out in two rounds.

Klassen, whose skills are honed by Manny Fernandez, also warned Fana to stop calling him a boy because that is a derogatory word.

"He says I must watch what I say. You know what? To hell with Mzonke, I can say anything I want," said "The Stone" who promised to embarrass the "Rose of Khayelitsha" in front of his fans at the OR Tambo Hall, which is a stone's throw away from Fana's house.

The eagerly awaited clash will be promoted by Branco Milenkovic, and will be televised live on Blow by Blow at 10pm. Milenkovic said the entrance fee is R50.
