Change all the foreign names

I was very disappointed by the decision of the Supreme Court of Appeal to set aside the name change to Makhado. Surely you can tell by the attitudes of those white Afrikaners that this country still has a long way to go.

I was very disappointed by the decision of the Supreme Court of Appeal to set aside the name change to Makhado. Surely you can tell by the attitudes of those white Afrikaners that this country still has a long way to go.

What is even more disturbing is that these Afrikaners are supported by some Africans.

Where will this fiasco end? Names definitely have to be changed and the Limpopo government has been doing a sterling job.

I wish they would go further and change every foreign name, especially Afrikaner ones. South Africa should also be renamed.

Yes, go on complaining about the cost of changing names, but we cannot attach value to this process because it affects our dignity and pride, which are priceless.

This country needs to produce great African leaders who will not take this nonsense. We want leaders who understand that our values and pride as Africans are not to be trampled on.

The leaders should not give a damn what people such as Tony Blair and George Bush say.

We need great thinkers such as Robert Mugabe, Mangaliso Sobukwe, Patrice Lumumba and others. Is there an African out there up to the challenge?
