The case against three people who allegedly evicted a family and assaulted them for being black was postponed in Krugersdorp magistrates' court yesterday.

Stanley Spangenberg, 24, Andre Swart, 22, and Caramia van der Mescht, 28, appeared briefly before magistrate Joachim Nortje.

This was after they were granted free bail on Sunday afternoon at the Krugersdorp police station.

The case was postponed to May 3 for further investigation.
