ANC deputy president Jacob Zuma will be at the Turfloop campus of the University of Limpopo at the weekend to give the university's Chris Hani memorial lecture.
The lecture will coincide with the Young Communist League's political education programme, the league's national secretary, Buti Manamela, said yesterday.
He said Zuma and Hani served together on various ANC structures.
"Zuma knew Hani very well. They worked together closely during their years in exile," Manamela said.
The programme starts on Saturday with the launch of the Limpopo Education Trust of the Jacob Zuma RDP Education Trust.
Zuma, SACP secretary-general Blade Nzimande and Cosatu general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi will speak at the main rally at the Turfloop campus.
On April 10 there will be a march to the Limpopo justice department to demand the release of the findings of the inquest into Hani's death.
