Our country needs serious moral regeneration because the situation is getting out of hand.
If these children are unable to control their libidos, we have a serious problem on our hands.
Who do we blame this time around - parents, newspapers, television, teachers or the environment?
If we are to believe that charity begins at home, then everyone is exonerated, except parents. We cannot hold teachers responsible for our childrens' actions if we do not teach them respect and values at home.
The other shocking story was the one about the 12 Eastern Cape pupils who had dagga-laced muffins in their lunchboxes. Who baked those muffins? I would not be surprised if a parent baked them. Even if one of the pupils baked the muffins, where were her or his parents?
Parents must start taking responsibility for their own children. School children must be taught that for every right there is a responsibility and also a limitation.
