LONDON - The sister of a 15-year-old boy shot dead by two gunmen has described how she desperately tried to save her brother's life.

LONDON - The sister of a 15-year-old boy shot dead by two gunmen has described how she desperately tried to save her brother's life.

Michael Dosunmu's sister, Shakira, said that she fought to keep him alive by giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

"I did it 15 times. I put air in his mouth - nothing. I did it again. I was just screaming.

"I said 'Michael you cannot leave me like this. Michael, Michael, Michael, wake up, wake up' - but he did not respond."

The teenager was killed when two intruders burst into his house in Peckham, south London last week, in what police said might have been a case of mistaken identity.

He was the third teenager to be shot dead in south London in less than two weeks. Police were deployed to crack down on the use of guns to commit crimes. - Reuters
