Heads will roll from Kaizer Chiefs' technical staff, warned an angry Kaizer Motaung, who has called for an urgent board meeting today.

This comes after a series of below par and inconsistent results, which are a cause for concern for the Amakhosi management and supporters. Chiefs are likely to have beleaguered coach Ernst "Mazinyo.Com" Middendorp removed from the bench after Saturday's 2-1 loss to AmaZulu in Rustenburg.

Before that defeat, Motaung, chairman of Chiefs, admitted for the first time in a post-match interview that the Naturena outfit was facing a huge crisis.

"I'm very disappointed, it looks like the situation is going from bad to worse. The current situation calls for a change," he said.

Asked where the change needed to be made, Motaung said: "It does not matter where, but there is a need for a change."

Motaung said there would be a management meeting this morning, after which an announcement would be made.

"I have just spoken to the players and technical staff and I told them the same thing I'm saying to you. We have a bit of a crisis. We should have been 4-0 up at half-time, we missed too many opportunities. The sad part about the defeat it that it was inflicted by our own boy [Lucky Mzizi].

"That boy was deemed not good enough to play for Chiefs; there are two other boys in the same boat who played tonight."

The other two youngsters from Amakhosi who are on loan at AmaZulu are midfielders Xolani Mabaso and Kagiso Senamela.

Though Motaung did not want to single out people likely to be affected by the changes, Middendorp is likely to be fired or redeployed as technical director. There is a strong possibility that Donald "Ace" Khuse might be appointed stand-in coach along with Ntsie "Teargas" Maphike.
