The distressed family of the suspected criminal necklaced by a mob on Saturday morning in Mmakau, North West, said that their lives are also in danger.
Kenny Munyai, 19, was killed after he, his girlfriend and a youth allegedly robbed a woman.
A Munyai family spokesman said they received information yesterday that the community is planning to kill the family and set their house on fire if they do not leave the area by the weekend.
