Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
The marathon theft, corruption and fraud trial of Chief Nyalala Pilane of the Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela tribe was postponed yet again to May.
Magistrate Stefaan du Toit set aside May 2 to 4 and May 21 and 22 as trial dates. Judgement is expected on May 22.
Pilane spent last week being grilled by the state prosecutor on withdrawals he made from the tribe's account and transferred into his own.
