Soweto Panthers are fired-up to clinch the inaugural Premier Basketball League title in Johannesburg tomorrow.

The star-studded Panthers take on the KwaZulu-Natal Marlins in the final match at the Mandeville Indoor Sports Arena.

Albert Mokoena's Panthers are the winners of the Inland stream, while Marlins finished on top in the Coastal stream. Panthers, who also have a soccer club campaigning in the Vodacom League in Gauteng, are the only side still unbeaten in the two streams with nine wins. Marlins won seven games with two defeats.

Pofessional basketball in South Africa was revived in November last year after nine years with Sprite coming on board to sponsor it.
