Thousands of people yesterday saw the launching of the R58million Masingita shopping mall in Giyani by the Limpopo premier, Sello Moloto.
The launching was attended by members of the business community, government officials and the residents of Giyani.
Michael Nkuna, of the Masingita Group, said the new business complex would provide the community with jobs.
"l believe thousands of people who are sitting at home will now get food on their tables because we have created work for them," said Nkuna.
Moloto welcomed the initiative by Masingita and appealed to other business people to join the fight against poverty
