Seleteng Giant Killers are harbouring hopes of winning the Limpopo Softball Association's LimDev Super League title this season, but it appears their ambitions will remain a pipe dream.

It seems like no team can stop Mahwelereng Spikes from defending their title.

Spikes proved their championship credentials with three resounding wins in Mahwelereng on Sunday. They launched their onslaught with a 7-0 demolition of Seshego Raiders, before a 5-2 win over Lebowakgomo Wildbeasts and 10-1 stroll over Mamaolo Rebels.

"We are the champions and will remain the champions at the end of the season. No team will win the league as long as we are still in this league," warned Tommy Kgomo, the wily Spikes coach, yesterday.

Other results: Wildbeasts 8, Mmotong Lions 6; Rebels 9, Mashite Eagles 4; Wildbeasts 12, Eagles 0; Raiders 10, Lions 7; Raiders 6, Rebels 3; Lions 7, Eagles 4.
