Tommy Kgomo, Mahwelereng Spikes coach, is adamant Seleteng Giant Killers' stay on top of the Limpopo Softball Association (LSA's) LimDev Super League is temporary and he promised to unseat them on Sunday.

Kgomo said yesterday they will use their three opponents on Sunday as stepping stones back to the top of the table.

Spikes play struggling Seshego Raiders at 10.30am then tackle Lebowakgomo Wildbeasts at 12.30pm and wind up the day against Mamaolo Rebels at 3pm.

Killers overtook Spikes on top of the log when they overwhelmed Raiders 9-1 and thrashed Rebels 9-4 in Seshego last Sunday.

"We were not playing last Sunday and this is our chance to return to where we rightfully belong, on top of the log," said Kgomo, who is also coach of the LSA provincial men's team.

"Spikes are the defending champions and we will do everything in our power to defend our title this season."

Spikes beat title pretenders Wildbeasts 2-0 in an enthralling first round tie in Lebowakgomo and they have the pedigree to beat them again on Sunday.

Wildbeasts should tame relegation candidates Mmotong Lions in their opening match at 10.30am and beat Mashite Eagles at 3pm.

Rebels play Eagles at 10.30am and Raiders at 12.30pm. Lions tackle Eagles at 12.30 and face Raiders at 3pm.
