Ntuthuko Maseko of Mpumalanga Harmony Gold Club wants to defend his 42,2km title in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Fast 3 in 1 Marathon, which is organised by the Nelspruit Marathon Club, tomorrow.

The race comprises a 10km, 21,1km and 42,2km.

Maseko won the 42,2km in a time of 2hrs:27min:18sec last year.

"I should have done better last year but the downpour made things difficult for me," he said.

"I hope this year there will be no rain as I set myself a target of improving my finishing time. I'm confident of beating my record and I have been training hard."
