Kaizer Chiefs may be performing far below par, but the Amakhosi communications director Thebe "Selepe" Mohatle is determined to see his side beating every team on the terraces.

"We want to stamp our authority as South Africa's most loved and supported club. We're not going to rest on our laurels, but to continue reviving and renewing memberships throughout the country," he said.

"It's a countrywide tour and we'll visit all our branches, even those who are no longer functioning. We will revive them and also look at their needs and requirements."

Mohatle said their mission of mobilising supporters was an ongoing process and they hope to cover a large section of the country before the league goes into recess.

"We'll be in North West this week and we're optimistic of getting more support there. We're aware that some of our supporters are disgusted because of the team's recent poor performance."

They will be in Potchefstroom, Orkney, Klerksdorp and Stilfontein and will also visit schools to teach the youngsters about the culture of the game.

"We need all our supporters to rally behind the team."
