Mourners from different parts of Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Gauteng paid their last respects to boxing promoter, Hendrick Nengwekhulu, who was buried at Tshithuthuni, outside Thohoyandou at the weekend.
Dignitaries included former boxing world champion Dingaan Thobela, Premier Soccer League corporate communications manager Muditambi Ravele, trainer Norman Hlabane, Black Leopards' boss David Thidiel and a number of government officials.
Nengwekhulu, 54, was the boxing promoter for Tshiawelo Boxing Promotion and a prominent businessman.
He died after a short illness last week.
He managed more than 15 professional boxers around the country.
