Limpopo softballers have removed the cobwebs off their mitts and will knuckle down to serious business in the opening matches of the LimDev Super League's second round at Seshego diamonds on Sunday.

With defending champions Mahwelereng Spikes not in action on Sunday, Seleteng Giant Killers have a good opportunity to unseat the Snakes on top of the log.

Killers face Seshego Raiders in what should be an easy assignment for the Seleteng giants at 10.30am.

But the same could not be said about their meeting with Mamaolo Rebels whom they engage in a GaMphahlele derby at 1pm. But Vansa Molaba, Killers' pitcher, is adamant that they will easily brush aside Raiders and Rebels.

Rebels have bolstered their squad with infielder Bonny Mphahlele who was signed from Tembisa Classic. Mphahlele also played for Killers before relocating to Ekurhuleni.

Killers trail Spikes by three points in second spot on the log and if they win the two matches they will have 36 points.

Rebels, who open their day's proceedings with a date against Red Scorpions at 10.30am, are fifth on the table on 21 points.

Basement club Ledwaba Giant Elephants' woes are likely to be worsened by Scorpions who tackle them at 3.30pm. University of Limpopo entertain Mmotong Lions and Raiders at 10.30am and 1pm, respectively.
