The UK actor plays a washed- up pop star trying to return to the big time by writing a love song in his new film Music and Lyrics, in which he stars alongside Drew Barrymore.
And while Grant has never tried to woo a loved one with a musical ode, he will never forget the time he received one.
"I've never written one, but I did once receive a love song," he recalled.
And assuring his girlfriend, Jemima Khan, she has nothing to worry about, he explains: "It was from a man in a high security prison in East Anglia [in eastern England]." -Wenn
