South African music sensation, the Soweto Gospel Choir, is jetting off to Los Angeles today to attend the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The globe-trotting 26-member choir has been nominated in the category of best traditional world music for its CD Blessed, which will be available from Friday.
Yesterday the choir broke into song at a party hosted by their recording company at Universal Music studios in Sandton.
