Ever wondered what the suits in parliament do behind closed doors? What they talk about and what influences their decisions?

Do they treat their children the same way they expect other parents to treat theirs?

And do they follow the same laws they outline to the nation?

Well, you are about to find out. The first episode of 90 Plein Street airs on SABC2 tonight.

The 13-part drama series follows a woman parliamentarian whose life revolves only around her work.

She wants to keep her political party true to its cause.

The storyline is also about brushes with the law, traditional values and troubled relationships.

90 Plein Street is also a story about love and divorce and opens a window into the lives of political leaders.

Dineo Nkgatho, the main character, also has two children, a son and a daughter, who add pressure to her highly charged lifestyle.

Some of the characters from the series are strikingly similar to personalities that usually feature in the news.

Is it Tony Yengeni, Tony Leon, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma or Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka?

You, the viewer, will get a chance to decide who is who from tonight on.
