The biggest consumer exhibition and entertainment hub in Africa, the Rand Easter Show, is back - and this year it is set to be better than ever before.
The show opens on March 30 and will run until April 15 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, south of Johannesburg.
The 112th edition's exhibitions, events and entertainment will leave you absolutely spoilt for choice.
Show manager, Bryan Brett, says: "Research has shown that visitors want outdoor activities so we are extending that area to include camping and outdoor living equipment and products. This is a definite plus for outdoor adventurers.
"Kagiso Exhibitions and Events are introducing a Domestic Tourism Hall, supported by South African Tourism. This exciting new addition is aimed at increasing tourism awareness in Southern Africa and features a variety of coastal, mountain and adventure destinations and attractions as well as comprehensive travel options," Brett says.
There is also a host of activities for younger visitors, such as music festivals featuring the very best South African acts and the popular animal carnival with its delightful lineup of pet events and interactive experiences like the endearing petting zoo.
As always, the SABC stage is an energetic live presentation of well-known television productions.
Brett says the show is essentially a family experience and the composition of the exhibitors and events builds and enhances this tradition. Ticket cost R45 for adults and children under 12 pay R15.
