A man was crushed to death by a train in Mpumalanga on Saturday morning.
The train driver told police that he had seen the man, estimated to be aged between 19 and 21, lying across the railway line. He said it had been too late to stop and he had driven over him.
Lowveld police spokesman Superintendent Mtsholi Bhembe said the man's head had been crushed beyond recognition and his legs had been cut off. - Sakhile Mokoena
