Barberton City Stars were held to a 1-all draw by ELB Movers in a dull Mpumalanga Vodacom men's league match held at Barberton prison grounds on Saturday.

Stars could have won the game with an avalanche of goals, but poor finishing let them down.

After opening the scoring in the 36th minute via Vusiwe "TK" Massondo, Stars looked destined to score more goals.

However, the visitors were the ones who scored in the second half via Lawrance Kgaphala to level matters.

Drama took place at the end of the match when ELB director, Kgotso Mahlangu charged towards the match officials threatening to assault them.

He accused the officials of cheating his team.

ELB coach Charles Seanego said they welcomed the draw.

"It's a bonus for us to get a point away from home.

"It will help us to move away from the relegation zone," said Seanego.
