Youthful Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral, pictured, still refuses to admit his side stand a chance to win the Castle Premiership crown at the end of the season.

But he remains positive the Urban Warriors will finish in the top eight brack.

Ertugral was speaking after his team's 2-0 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic at Athlone Stadium on Friday.

"This victory has restored our confidence," he said. "I believe we will beat many teams if my guys remain focused and positive."

Celtic coach Tony de Nobrega was disappointed with the way his charges acquitted themselves in the match.

"I think the Cape Town weather was unkind to us," he said.

"The strong wind made things difficult for us compared to Ajax who are used to these conditions."

Ajax took the lead in the 30th minute after Clinton Jagers received a through pass from Nathan Paulse.

The Cape club put the matter beyond Celtic's reach when the in-from Terror Fanteni netted his club's second goal on the stroke of full time.
