City Stars soldier on despite title setback

Barberton City Stars midfielder Melusi "Veron" Thomo says they may have resigned their chances to defend their title but they want to end the season in a respectable position.

Thomo said preparations for their clash against ELB Movers at Barberton prison ground at 3pm tomorrow, have been going well.

Stars are expected to parade new player Wonderboy Siluma, who was signed from National First Division side GaRankuwa United.

Simon "Kgotso" Mahlangu, ELB director, says they desperately need the points.

Other fixtures tomorrow (all starting at 3pm): Witklip stadium - FC Sporting v Middelburg Saints; KaBokweni stadium - FC Barcelona v Mpumalanga Black Aces; Mkhuhlu stadium - FC Henemat v FC Benfica; Maserumule stadium - Sekhukhune Masters v Batau Killers; Lynnville - FC Spurs v Leandra; Vukuzakhe stadium - Winners v Secunda Eagles; Thulamahashi - MP Highlanders v Walter Stars.
