Museum Africa in Newtown presents a photographic exhibition titled On the road again from February 8 to March 25.

Incorporating the work of 16 Swiss photographers,On the road again deals with the theme of mobility.

The exhibition was selected from the 9th Biel Photography Days 2005, which included the work of 25 photographers.

The Biel Photography Days yearly exhibition is the most prestigious photography festival in Switzerland and is an important platform for young contemporary Swiss photographers.

On the road again comprises 150 photographs and two projections.

Mobility has great significance in the daily lives of all people, but its meaning is as diverse as people are individual. The artwork demonstrates the positive and negative aspects of the theme, and makes direct reference to Africa in two instances.

The On the roadagain exhibition was shown last year at the third Photofesta Maputo in Mozambique, where it ran from October 15 to November 15.

The exhibition is the result of an intercultural project between Swiss, Mozambican and South African photographers.
