I agree with Percy Sepaela's letter "Farmers must help land reform" Sowetan January 30. Farmers [white] must help this process.

I don't want our country to go the Zimbabwe route. The target of settling all land claims by 2014 will be too late because people will have waited for more than a century to get their land back. Farmers should stop sabotaging land reform by inflating land prices. They must comply before our people lose patience.

The Department of Land Affairs must implement the resolutions of the Land Summit and fast track land reform.
