A man who allegedly forced his common-law wife to have sexual activities with a neighbour's dog had his case postponed to February 21.

Oupa Rademeyer, 52, of Blydeville in the North West, said in the Lichtenburg magistrates' court that Magrieta Rooskrante, 48, was a liar.

"When she saw that last year's protection order did not stick, she came with something else. The fact is that she wants me out of the house we share," he said.

Rademeyer and Roos-krante were reportedly drunk at the time of the incident.

Rademeyer is charged with common assault and his bail of R200 was extended.
