Two suspects - both employees of the bank - were arrested a few hours after we exposed the mysterious withdrawal.

After Ndoyisile Mfiki's plight was highlighted in Sowetan yesterday, the bank launched an immediate probe that led to the suspension of the two employees. Management should be commended for the prompt reaction to their client's plight, in so doing bringing a smile back to the ill pensioner by promising to refund his money.
