King Mhlanga, 32, of Nyongane near Hazyview, in Mpumalanga, was arrested after a fight with the police, who had been called by neighbours.
Mhlanga faces two charges of assault and one of defeating the ends of justice, and was yesterday released on R500 bail in the Masoyi periodical court. The case was postponed to February 27 for further investigation. - Masoka Dube
