Bloemfontein Celtic scored a well-deserved 2-0 victory over Jomo Cosmos in a Castle Premiership game at a packed Seisa Ramabodu Stadium yesterday.

Cosmos took the game with one thing in mind, to pack their defenceand deny the home side to play their passing game.

They attacked the Ezenkosi defence with marauding moves in order to get an early lead in the first half.

Cosmos were chasing shadows and it came as no surprise when Celtic scored through Lebogang Mothibantwa after a pass from Patrick Malokase in the 31st minute.

After that goal Cosmos started to make half-hearted attempts at their opponent' goals and five minutes later, Dikgang Mabalane capitalised on a poor clearance by Thabo Ntethe, Celtic's defender. He lobbed the ball over the home side's goalkeeper but the ball was cleared on the goalline by James Madidilane.

Celtic's second goal came via substitute Petrus Mahlatsi in the 79th minute after receiving a pass from Spandeel.
