Correctional Services said that “matters are under control” at Johannesburg’s Sun City Prison on Wed.
The trial of AbaThembu king Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, a nephew of former president Nelson Mandela, was yesterday postponed to March 26 by the Mthatha high court.
Dalindyebo, 38, is facing 31 charges that include murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, arson, theft, extortion and defeating the ends of justice.
He was not in court and the postponement date would be conveyed to him.
According to the charge sheet, the charges relate to incidents at Bumbane between 1995 and 1996. - Stan Mzimba
