Silver Stars have an opportunity to protect their top spot on the Castle Premiership log at Black Leopards' expence at Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Phokeng on Sunday (3.45pm).

The two teams, who played to a goalless draw in the first round in Thohoyandou, are expected to go for broke for maximum points that are crucial for both clubs.

The Tycoons boast an unbeaten record in the league campaign against Leopards and this should motivate them for Sunday's encounter.

But Thamaga "Uncle Ti" Mokgophi, Stars' manager, said yesterday they will not read too much into their past results against Lidoda Duvha.

"We need to be very cautious throughout the match. Though we are bracing ourselves for stiff opposition on Sunday, we will throw everything at Leopards," said Mokgophi.

Leopards' brand manager Tshifhiwa Thidiela also admitted yesterday that the Tycoons will be tough customers.

"But the players know the importance of winning on Sunday and I don't think they will disappoint us. They started well against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday and I hope they will do even much better against Stars."

Jabulani Maluleke and Walter Ramulodi are available for selection after they recovered from knocks they suffered when they tried to avoid perimeter advertising boards that were blown by a strong southerly wind at Ellis Park.

The match was abandoned and will be played next Wednesday.
