The SA National Editors Forum (Sanef) is "concerned" that the current restructuring of the South African Police Service could hamper the free flow of information.

Sowetan editor and Sanef deputy chairman Thabo Leshilo last night said the organisation would closely monitor developments, which "could affect the timeousness of reports".

Several leading journalists have also voiced misgivings about the restructuring of the police service. - Llewellyn Kriel
