Report 'is not true'

Reports that Avhatakali Netshisaulu's house has been deserted since the arrest of his wife are untrue, City Press editor Mathata Tsedu has said.

Reports that Avhatakali Netshisaulu's house has been deserted since the arrest of his wife are untrue, City Press editor Mathata Tsedu has said.

Tsedu objected to a Sowetan report yesterday that the house was under lock and key. He also objected to a section of the piece which said he had been seen with an "unidentified woman" at the house.

"There is always someone at the house. It is not deserted," he said.

He said that the woman, reported to have been "unidentified" in the Sowetan report, was his murdered son's mother, Dzudzanani.

Netshisaulu's wife, Mulalo Sivhidzo, has since appeared in court in connection with his death.

Tsedu said that he "felt wronged by the piece". - Sowetan
