A total of 13 clubs have qualified for the last-16 stage of the Kwa-Mahlobo Goodwill Games, an annual festive season amateur soccer tournament played in Meadowlands.
Blessing Zwane, a spokesman for the organisers, said the other three clubs wouldl be decided at Mahlobo sports grounds in Zone 10 today.
Those who have already booked themselves a place are PJ Stars, Kliptown FC, Ubuhle, Fifa X1, Snake Park X1, Together, Dobsonville X1, Orange Farm Rangers, Buda FC, Peacemakers, Inter Milan, Scorpions and Jabulani Vultures.
"The games started two weeks ago with 40 clubs from Soweto and other areas in Gauteng taking part," said Zwane.
"The support we've been getting from the community of Soweto has been tremendous. Zone 10 grounds have become a popular venue this time of the year.
"What makes this year's tournament even more exciting is the fact that we are celebrating 10 years of its existence."
Zwane said the draw for the last-16 stage would take place tomorrow morning, with the games taking place in the afternoon and on Friday.
