The people of Cape Town do not support soccer as much as they support rugby and cricket.

It is also doubtful if Cape Town can host any games in 2010.

Given that one of the most expensive stadiums in the country is going to be built in Cape Town, one can only wonder if the people of that city will ever go and watch the games or if only foreigners will attend.

And then, what will happen after the World Cup?

We see that most Cape Town teams take their games to Kimberley.

I think Safa should rethink the matter of Cape Town hosting any World Cup games and rather build the stadium in the Northern Cape capital.

It will be a waste of money to build such an expensive stadium in a city that does not support soccer at all.

Safa should take the plan of the stadium to be built in Cape Town and swop it with the one for the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo.

At least there we know that it will be put to good use and will create a legacy for years to come.
