An 80-year-old pensioner was beaten to death with a knobkerrie by her 23-year-old grandson, who had accused her of witchcraft.
Granny Tuluza Hairpin Mhlongo of Vulamehlo reserve in Eshowe, KwaZulu- Natal, was killed at home on Tuesday. The accusation arose after the death of the suspect's sister.
The suspect is expected to appear in court today.
