A prominent Soweto school teacher, Lwandle ''Butler'' Mayeza, died on Sunday at Johannesburg Hospital after a long illness.
Mayeza, a retired teacher who taught for years at Crown Mines Primary School in Johannesburg, was a member of the Johannesburg Retired Teachers' Association.
He will be buried at Westpark Cemetery today at 10am. The service starts at 8am at the Central Methodist Mission in Pritchard Street. - Sowetan
