l October 28 2005: Nobuhle Ndlebe gives birth to twin boys at Natalspruit Hospital in Ekurhueni.
l November 3: The twins, Lindokuhle and Lindelani, who were kept in an incubator because they had been born prematurely, die.
l November 13: Ndlebe goes to Natalspuit Hospital and is shocked to discover that the twins have died. She asks for the corpses but is told to return after a week.
l Later in November: Ndlebe returns to the hospital and is given the wrong body. The hospital tries to convince her that it is her baby Lindokuhle. She is again told to return after a week.
l December 2005: Ndlebe learns that Lindokuhle was involved in a mix-up and the body was given to a family from KwaZulu-Natal.
l March 2006: The hospital admits the mix-up and Ndlebe is told the matter would be resolved that month.
l June 2006: Lindokuhle is buried at Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal.
l July: Natalspruit Hospital authorities make Ndlebe sign a form granting them permission to exhume the buried corpse.
l October 28: Baby Lindokuhle is finally exhumed and taken to the Natalspruit mortuary.
l October 27: DNA tests are run on the corpse to prove the child's paternity.
l November 10: Sowetan speaks to the hospital, which promises that the results would be ready in two weeks.
l December 19: Results still not available.
