Jomo Cosmos plan to end 2006 in style by pocketing maximum points against SuperSport United in a Castle Premiership match at Katlehong Stadium on Wednesday.

"It is our last match of the year and there can't be any better Christmas present than getting the three points at stake here," said Andrew Rabutla, Cosmos' manager.

Jomo Sono, Cosmos' owner-coach, took the team through its paces yesterday. It did not have a game at the weekend.

"We are planning to bid 2006 goodbye with Cosmos in the top eight bracket," added Rabutla.

"The game against SuperSport will be a tough one but they will find us ready. The good news is that the 'TV Game' [Sipho Sephadi] is back in action. However, El Hadji Sambo is still out with a knee injury."

All the other games start at 3.45pm, unless otherwise stated.
