Another chance

Christmas might be a period of happiness and reunions for most families and friends, but, lest we forget, it is also a time of trauma for many, if not most, of the pupils awaiting their matric results.

Christmas might be a period of happiness and reunions for most families and friends, but, lest we forget, it is also a time of trauma for many, if not most, of the pupils awaiting their matric results.

For far too many of our children, failure to pass matric seems to be the end of the world.

But it should not be. After all, there is always a second chance. Everybody emerges stronger after considering their failures, and preparing to work harder the next time.

Yes, you will be disappointed. But never allow the disappointment to drown your future aspirations. We urge those of our children who might not make it to look ahead with more determination to come out tops next time.
