Who is coining it again and again?

Is Coin Security Group, which is entrusted with the safekeeping of millions of rands for its clients, up to the mammoth task?

Is Coin Security Group, which is entrusted with the safekeeping of millions of rands for its clients, up to the mammoth task?

This must be the question in the mind of the public after robbers stole R30million from its West Rand depot this week - last month robbers struck at its Modderfontein depot, stealing R50million.

What is of great concern is the frequent and apparent easy access gained by these gangs into the company's buildings during the heists.

After last month's theft, management ought to have tightened their security to avoid a repeat occurrence.

But alas .

The armed gang on Monday even had time to drug the guards and use a bulldozer to break into the vault. This is outrageous.

The question is: are these heists inside jobs, and, if so, what is the company doing to prevent similar occurrences in the future?

Coin Security is obviously sufficiently conscious that security breaches negatively jolt its credibility.

Insurance firms are obviously perturbed by the turn of events. The company should move swiftly to implement a tighter strategy to avoid further embarrassment.
