Shai Butana bought a 14-track CD titled Let's Begin With Love by the late Barry White this week.
But when Barry began singing in Shona, the Tembisa fan realised something was amiss.
Butana played the CD for his wife . Barry White classics wafted through their house. As the mood was getting right between Butana and his wife the lyrics of You Make My Life Easy Living switched to a Shona song that sounded like something Oliver Mtukudzi or another Zimbabwean singer would do.
"I was shocked. What made it worse was that I bought the CD from a reputable store like Shoprite."
The company's director, Brian Weyers, said the CD would be examined by Music for Pleasure to determine how the last track became jumbled with another song.
