A Limpopo insurance company has launched a funeral policy aimed specifically at musicians.

This follows the recent deaths of musicians in the province whose families did not have sufficient money to bury them.

In these latest incidents, fans, businesspeople and Munghana Lonene FM donated enough cash to provide decent funerals for five musicians.

Now a local insurance company has developed a funeral policy to cater for musicians.

"We have crafted funeral policies specifically for our struggling musicians," managing director Gezani Mashele said yesterday.

"The majority of these musicians are self- employed."
