Police spokesman Inspector Katlego Mogale said police recovered four stolen vehicles and arrested five men. He said they had been forced to shoot at the suspects during the chase.
Police received a Tracker signal from a stolen Volkswagen Jetta just after 8am yesterday. They caught up with the Jetta on the Moloto Road but the driver refused to pull over.
